Summer is now in full flow and this month the team at SWP chose to feature a project within one of the most luxurious and exclusive yachting communities in the country, Royal Palm Yacht and Country Club.   Situated on the Boca Raton inlet with direct ocean access from the beautiful homes within, the 450 acre club dating back to 1959 complete with Jack Nicklaus golf course and marina, is a beautiful example of luxurious coastal living.

2017 has seen a shift in design trends for architects, furniture and interior designers and landscape designers.  We see a movement towards lighter and brighter indoor entertainment spaces with simplified shapes, clean styling, organic muted colors, hues and textures for a greater connection to nature.

The spectacular home featured by SWP Cabinetry encapsulates the cool, crisp coastal vibe ideal.  Maple cabinetry with crisp white custom enamel finish in the kitchen and laundry feature against pale sky blue walls, shiplap ceiling detail and nautical striped accent rug.

Spring 2017 | SWP Cabinetry Update

April is already upon us and 2017 is proving to be another exciting year for SWP Cabinetry, with some challenging and inspirational projects in motion.

The team are proud to have launched our new website (swpcabinetry.com) and have bagged two Best in American Living Awards earlier this year.  BALA awards as they are known spotlight the most creative and innovative projects in the nation, work that pushes boundaries and redefines design excellence.

The BALA Platinum award-winning project went to the beautiful kitchen at 6 Ocean Lane in Palm Beach, Florida, designed by Marc Michaels, with architectural custom cabinetry and fine furniture by SWP Cabinetry.

We have chosen this month to showcase a luxurious and sophisticated Palm Beach Mansion project -  once again the beautiful result of a partnership between SWP Cabinetry and the Marc Michaels interior design team.

Our focus this month is on Sandra Bird Designs, located just north of San Francisco in Kentfield, CA.  A creative and inspirational group of people, they specialize in residential design that includes both remodels as well as new constructions serving Marin, San Francisco, Sonoma and Beyond.  The team offers a complete service from initial concepts to working drawings and project construction.

The principal, Sandra Bird has been working within the design and build field for over 35 years.  Her designs have been featured in many publications both local and national, including House Beautiful and Better Homes and Gardens. With a wealth of experience and an attuned eye for color, texture, space, light and composition of visual elements, Sandra and her team help clients realize and implement their visions.   The firm are well known for their insightful ideas, excellent staff, attention to detail and thoughtful designs and were located in the Lark Creek Shops - a small historical shopping district in Marin County for many years - but just relocated to Kentfield!

Superior Wood Products are proud to have been providing gorgeous cabinetry and successfully collaborating with Sandra Bird Designs on projects for many years.
